Web conferencing is the method of conducting a person to person/persons communications session by means of Internet connectivity. A Web conference can be either audio, video, or both. Text, audio and video may be used to communicate in real time with the participants of the the Web conference. Most Web conferencing software or services features the ability to audio chat, post comments to a message board, and instant message to the make the experience collaborative. Video and audio Web conferences can be recorded to a server and re-broadcasted at a later time for those who couldn't make the live session.
