August 4, 2006, Newsletter Issue #11: Elect a Web Meeting Host

Tip of the Week

When utilizing Web meeting software, someone in your company or group should be delegated as the host for your online meeting. This person should be responsible for setting up the online meeting, planning the agenda, and taking over control of the meeting when necessary. They will have all the administrative rights during the Web meeting and will conduct the order and flow of business. This will keep things running smoothly and enable the group to have someone to intervene should a hot discussion pop up.
